Satender Bhasin, MD of Venice Mall, Arrested in Greater Noida

Satender Bhasin, also known as Montu Bhasin, the owner and Managing Director of Venice Mall in Greater Noida, has been arrested by Beta-2 police on charges of vandalism, assault, document theft, and arson. The arrest follows a complaint filed by the DS Group, resulting in an FIR being lodged against Bhasin and three others at the Beta-2 police station.

According to the police, Bhasin allegedly violated legal agreements by removing the DS Group from his business, despite the matter being under litigation in the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT). Reports of vandalism and destruction at the disputed site have raised concerns, and authorities are interrogating Bhasin to uncover more details about the ongoing case.

Bhasin has a history of legal issues and fraudulent activities. In 2019, he was arrested by Kasna Kotwali police for allegedly defrauding buyers by selling mall shops under false pretenses. His dealings in real estate have been controversial, and his name has been linked to numerous financial and legal disputes over the years.

This latest arrest underscores the ongoing conflicts in Greater Noida’s real estate sector, where investors and businesses often face challenges over property rights and contractual agreements. The police are continuing to investigate, and further legal actions against Bhasin are expected as more evidence is gathered.
