Saratoga County Man Jason Brundige Indicted on Drug Charges

Jason Brundige, a 49-year-old man from Ballston Spa, Saratoga County, has been indicted for several serious charges related to drug trafficking. The indictment includes charges of possessing and distributing cocaine, as well as possessing a firearm as a convicted felon.

The charges were announced by United States Attorney Carla B. Freedman and Bryan Miller, Special Agent in Charge of the New York Field Division of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives. Saratoga County Sheriff Michael H. Zurlo also contributed to the case’s progress. Brundige, a previously convicted felon, is accused of distributing cocaine from his residence on June 28 and July 2, 2024. During one of these sales, Brundige allegedly had a firearm in his possession.

Further investigation led to charges of possessing cocaine on July 3, 2024, with the intent to sell, while carrying a loaded firearm. If convicted, Brundige faces a minimum sentence of 10 years in prison, with a maximum sentence of life imprisonment. Additionally, he could be subjected to a supervised release period ranging from five years to life once his sentence ends.

This indictment highlights ongoing efforts by law enforcement to tackle drug distribution and firearm-related crimes in Saratoga County and across the region.
