TULSA, OKLA (KTUL) — On January 3, the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) arrested Santale Lamont Cephus, 51, after discovering 12 pounds of marijuana in his vehicle during a traffic stop.
According to TCSO, a deputy stopped Cephus for a traffic violation and soon detected the smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle. A subsequent search led to the discovery of the drugs.
Cephus was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
Further investigation led deputies to execute a search warrant at Cephus’ residence, where they recovered two firearms, a stolen vehicle, and over 400 pounds of marijuana.
