Seminole County Man Pleads Guilty to Drug Trafficking and Firearm Charges

San’Drevious Lane faces up to life in prison following conviction.

San’Drevious Jerome Lane, 23, has pleaded guilty to carrying a firearm during a drug trafficking offense and distributing narcotics near a playground, according to the U.S. State Attorney’s Office. Lane’s sentencing is scheduled for March 13, 2025, where he faces a minimum sentence of six years, with a potential for life imprisonment.

The charges stem from incidents in 2024. On May 21, Lane was involved in distributing cocaine in Sanford, Florida, while possessing a firearm. Law enforcement officials found Lane’s fingerprints on the firearm. As a convicted felon, Lane was legally prohibited from owning a firearm under federal law.

Additionally, on June 3, 2024, Lane sold 28 grams of cocaine within 800 feet of a playground, further violating federal laws.

The investigation was carried out by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office. The case is part of Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN), an initiative that fosters cooperation among law enforcement agencies to combat violent crime and enhance community safety. Assistant U.S. Attorney Adam J. Nate is prosecuting the case.

Lane’s plea agreement and his upcoming sentencing highlight the ongoing efforts to reduce crime in communities and ensure greater public safety.
