Samir Uddin Arrested in Bilasipara Drug and Arms Seizure

In a significant anti-crime operation, Bilasipara police raided Duachari village last night, leading to the seizure of live ammunition, narcotics, and other illegal items. Acting on intelligence, a special police team targeted the residence of Haider Ali, where they arrested Samir Uddin, a suspected drug trafficker.

During the raid, authorities recovered:

7.62 MM live ammunition and a bullet

1 kg of cannabis

317 grams of heroin in three containers

Three mobile phones

A Pulsar bike

Samir Uddin, a resident of Atani, was apprehended, but Haider Ali, the house owner, managed to escape prior to the raid. Police are intensifying efforts to locate Ali and any other accomplices involved in illegal trafficking activities in the region. Authorities are also investigating possible links between these individuals and larger criminal networks.
