Samantha Marion Charged in Shooting Death of Pastor Ricky Floyd

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC/Gray News) – A Memphis woman has been charged in connection with the shooting death of Pastor Ricky Floyd outside Momma’s Bar early Wednesday morning.

Incident Details
Authorities say Samantha Marion, 42, shot Floyd just after 1:20 a.m. following an argument inside the bar.

Surveillance footage showed Floyd throwing Marion’s phone to the ground and tossing a beer can before leaving the bar. However, as he began to drive away, he stopped, exited his vehicle, and walked back toward Marion. At that point, Marion pulled out a gun and shot him, according to police.

Victim Identified
Floyd, who served as the senior lead pastor at Pursuit of God Transformation Center, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Charges & Investigation
Marion was arrested and is now charged with voluntary manslaughter. The case remains under investigation.
