The Kano State Police Command has arrested Sadiq Zubairu, accused of murdering his friend Bello Adam after failing to deliver on a promise to secure him a job for N3 million.
Zubairu, a former colleague of Adam at the Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO), had assured him of employment at the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS). However, after weeks without a job offer or any return of the money, Adam reportedly pressured Zubairu for answers.
According to family sources cited by security analyst Zagazola Makama, Zubairu misled Adam about his ability to help. Facing mounting pressure from his friend, Zubairu invited Adam to his house, where he allegedly committed the crime.
As investigations continue, authorities are working to uncover further details surrounding this tragic incident.
