Roosevelt Davis III Arrested for Murder and Bank Robbery

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – Roosevelt Davis III, a 23-year-old man from Wisconsin, has been arrested in Kentucky and is facing serious charges in connection with a shooting that left one woman dead and another injured.

Davis is accused of robbing a bank in Wisconsin, using the stolen money to purchase two firearms, and traveling to Kentucky with the intent to kill. Once in Springfield, Davis fired ten rounds into a home, fatally shooting 31-year-old Kasheda Burch and injuring a 52-year-old woman inside.

Court documents show that Burch had been arrested in October for attempting to murder Davis. She had posted bail just days before the shooting.
