The Visalia Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit arrested two individuals, Roman Garcia and Jose Ocampos, in connection with the tragic shooting of Adolfo Martinez in Cutler, California.
The arrest of 38-year-old Roman Garcia occurred on Monday in Cutler, where he was charged with Accessory After the Fact. Police also executed a search warrant at Garcia’s home on Eddy Road. Two days later, 26-year-old Jose Ocampos was apprehended in Orange Cove on homicide charges.
This arrest came after police responded to a shooting report in the early hours of Sunday morning. Adolfo Martinez, 54, was found with a gunshot wound in an alley near 100 North Court Street just before 2 a.m. Martinez succumbed to his injuries shortly afterward.
Both Garcia and Ocampos are now held in the Tulare County Adult Pre-Trial Facility while further investigations unfold.
