Rochelle Sampson Arrested with Meth, Marijuana, and Bludgeon Club

A 42-year-old woman from Champaign, Rochelle Sampson, was arrested in Kewanee after a traffic stop revealed illegal drugs and a weapon. On Tuesday afternoon, Kewanee police pulled Sampson over on South Main Street, where they discovered that she was driving with a revoked license.

During the vehicle search, officers found 178 grams of suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, packaging materials, scales, a bludgeon club, and $757 in cash. Sampson was arrested and taken to the Henry County Jail, where she faces multiple charges, including possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon, possession of an open title, and driving on a revoked license.

Additionally, Sampson is being held on a parole warrant issued by the Illinois Department of Corrections.
