Customers reported delays in receiving their Monthly Income Scheme (MIS) payments, contrary to the company’s promises. Complaints also indicated that varying profit percentages were offered to different individuals, raising suspicions of unfair practices.
The financial irregularities became apparent in February when customers began experiencing significant delays in their interest payments. As a result, customers from various areas of Barpeta filed police complaints. Following these reports, the police conducted an investigation, which led to Pathak’s detention.
