Reginald Graves Arrested in Jacksonville Homicide Case

Jacksonville, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO) announced Tuesday that 51-year-old Reginald Graves has been arrested in connection to a December homicide. Graves is charged with second-degree murder and aggravated assault in the death of 51-year-old Todd Mahodge Taylor.

On December 18, 2024, JSO officers responded to Kings Road after receiving reports of Taylor being found unresponsive on the sidewalk following an altercation. Taylor was rushed to a local hospital in life-threatening condition but tragically passed away from his injuries on January 7.

The JSO Homicide Team 7, alongside the Crime Scene Unit, conducted a thorough investigation, collecting evidence at the scene. After diligent work, detectives identified a suspect and issued an arrest warrant for Graves.

Graves was denied bond and made his first court appearance on Tuesday. The investigation into the case continues.
