Rashad Fryer Arrested for Two Felony Shoplifting Charges

A 20-year-old man from Ripley, Rashad Fryer, has been arrested and charged with two counts of felony shoplifting after two incidents at local vape shops. The Tupelo Police Department reported that the first incident occurred at Tupelo Vape Shop on September 30, 2024, followed by a second shoplifting at Cloud City Vape on October 7, 2024.

Following an investigation, Rashad Fryer was identified as the suspect in both cases, and an arrest warrant was issued. On November 30, 2024, Fryer was apprehended after a traffic stop conducted by Tupelo Police officers.

Fryer was held on a $10,000 bond, with Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Weir ordering his detention on December 2, 2024.
