Rankin County Music Teacher Arrested for Lust Charge

A music teacher from Rankin County has been arrested and charged with gratification of lust. Richland police confirmed the arrest of Sam Taylor on Friday morning, according to Darkhorse Press.

Taylor, who had been a music teacher at Richland Upper Elementary School for over 11 years, also taught elementary music at the Rankin County School District and Jackson Public Schools. In addition to his teaching role, he has served as a pastor and youth minister, and identifies as a music teacher, pastor, husband, father, coach, and violinist on his Twitter profile.

The Richland Police Department has stated that the investigation is ongoing. Further details have yet to be released as the community processes this news.
