Rajasthan Man Arrested for Duping Mumbai Resident of Rs 61,890

A 24-year-old man from Rajasthan was arrested for allegedly scamming a Mumbai resident out of Rs 61,890 by promising a call girl service. The accused, identified as Mahendra Nathulal Patidar, was apprehended in Rajasthan. Authorities recovered three mobile phones and nine SIM cards from him.

According to a Kalachowki police official, the victim had searched the internet for a call girl service when Patidar contacted him and agreed to provide the service for a fee of Rs 61,890. However, after receiving the money, Patidar began avoiding the victim’s calls.

The police investigation led to Patidar after they obtained CCTV footage showing him withdrawing money from an ATM. The authorities continue their investigation into the fraudulent activities.
