Rahat Fateh Ali Khan Arrested at Dubai Airport Over Defamation Case

Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan was arrested on Monday at Dubai International Airport after arriving from Lahore for an event. He was taken into custody at the immigration center following a defamation complaint filed by his former manager, Salman Ahmed.

After his arrest, Khan was moved to Burj Dubai police station for questioning. Although details of the complaint remain unclear, the case has gained significant attention due to Khan’s fame as one of Pakistan’s most celebrated Sufi and playback singers.

The investigation into the matter is ongoing, with authorities continuing to look into the allegations made by Ahmed.
