Rachakonda Police Bust Fake Job Racket; Three Arrested

The Rachakonda police successfully dismantled a fake job racket on Friday, arresting three individuals involved in the scheme. The suspects—Shaik Bade Shaheb, Muthoju Laxmana Chary, and Madaka Rama Swamy—were apprehended after a detailed investigation into their fraudulent activities.

During the raid, police recovered Rs 4 lakh in cash from the suspects, along with two laptops, a printer, mobile phones, and various incriminating documents that highlight their deceitful operations.

Previously arrested for similar offenses, the trio had been defrauding job seekers by promising them fake positions in numerous government and public sectors, including the Food Corporation of India (FCI), State Bank of India (SBI), and other institutions. They issued counterfeit appointment letters and ID cards, only to vanish when victims sought refunds upon discovering the scam.

A case was registered at the Pocharam IT Corridor Police Station after numerous complaints from victims. The investigation revealed that the accused had even created forged agreements claiming authorization to collect applications for government schemes like Gruha Jyothi and Gruha Laxmi. They swindled an individual named B.V.V. Shanker out of Rs 33 lakh under the pretense of offering contract work.

Further investigations are ongoing, with police actively searching for additional suspects, Mohd Malik and Akash, who are believed to be connected to the scam. More updates will be released as the investigation unfolds.
