Punjalakatte Police Arrest Two Men for Stealing Pick-Up Vehicle

The Punjalakatte police have arrested Kanakappa Yamunapa Kyadageri (24) and Ramesh Chauhan (26) from Bagalakote district in connection with the theft of a pick-up vehicle parked outside an interlock factory in Malady.

The incident occurred on the night of December 2, when the pick-up vehicle, owned by Terrence Joshel Veigas, was stolen from outside his factory. After receiving the complaint, police launched an investigation and traced the suspects to Bagalakote.

The police were able to recover the stolen vehicle, worth Rs3 lakh, from the two accused. Both Kyadageri and Chauhan have been arrested and are currently in police custody while further investigations are underway.

This swift action by the Punjalakatte police has successfully solved the theft case, and the vehicle has been returned to its rightful owner.
