Punjab Agents Arrested for Arranging Fake Serbian Visas

The IGI Airport Police have arrested two agents from Punjab involved in a scheme to arrange fake Serbian visas for international travel. The scam came to light when a passenger was deported from the UAE due to the discovery of a fraudulent visa.

The accused have been identified as Harjinder Singh alias Gill (31) and Saurav alias Harry (26), both residents of Punjab. The investigation began when Sarvan Kumar (36) from Pathankot, Punjab, was deported from the UAE after attempting to board a flight to Serbia. UAE authorities detected the fake Serbian visa in his passport, resulting in his return to India.

Upon arrival at IGI Airport, Indian officials uncovered the fraudulent visa, prompting an inquiry. Kumar revealed that he had paid Rs8.5 lakh to the agents for illegal entry into Serbia and for a promised job.

A police team led by Inspector Sushil Goyal subsequently arrested the suspects in Punjab.
