Pune Police Arrest Harshad Pawar in 64 House Break-ins

In a significant breakthrough, the Pune city police have arrested 31-year-old Harshad Gulab Pawar, a resident of Gulab Nagar, Mulshi taluka, for his involvement in 64 house burglaries. The police also recovered a sack containing gold and silver ornaments worth approximately Rs 17 lakh, alongside the equipment he used to commit the thefts.

According to the police, Harshad Pawar employed a clever tactic of changing clothes after each break-in and used narrow lanes to travel up to 50 kilometers to escape detection. His efforts made it difficult for the police to track him using CCTV footage.

The investigation is still ongoing, with police working to uncover any other potential burglaries linked to Pawar. The authorities are also investigating if he was part of a larger criminal network.
