Providence Man Arrested on Drug Trafficking Charges After Maserati Traffic Stop

PROVIDENCE, KY — A 36-year-old man from Webster County, Cory Lussier, was arrested on drug trafficking charges after a traffic stop in Providence. Officers from the Providence Police Department had received information about Lussier driving a Maserati with a suspended license.

Upon spotting the vehicle leaving a local gas station, officers confirmed that the registered owner, Lussier, had a suspended license. A subsequent investigation led to the discovery of methamphetamine, marijuana, a loaded handgun, brass knuckles, and cash inside the vehicle.

Lussier was arrested and is facing multiple charges, including trafficking methamphetamine, trafficking marijuana, possession of a handgun by a felon, and other related offenses. The Maserati was also seized during the arrest. Authorities continue to investigate the case as they work to combat drug-related crime in the area.
