Princess Fatima Fouzia Files Fraud Case Over Rs 121 Crore Land Deal

Princess Fatima Fouzia, granddaughter of the Nizam VII of Hyderabad, Mir Osman Ali Khan Bahadur, has initiated a criminal case against three individuals for allegedly fabricating a land deal valued at Rs121 crore in Ooty, Tamil Nadu.

After her initial complaint to the police went unaddressed, Princess Fouzia sought the court’s intervention. Subsequently, the court instructed the police to file a case, leading the Central Crime Station (CCS) to register charges under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, including sections 318 (deceiving), 319 (cheating), 335 (forging false documents), and 61 (criminal conspiracy). The accused are identified as Milad Ali Khan, Sajjad Ali Khan, and Mir Meraj Ali Khan.

According to the complaint, the accused allegedly obtained a fraudulent succession order by creating a counterfeit General Power of Attorney (GPA). This document, falsely presented as authentic, purportedly bore the signatures of over 150 individuals, none of whom actually signed it. The disputed land in Ooty includes a substantial share claimed by Princess Fouzia, valued at over Rs121 crore.
