Prakash Nayak Arrested in Manipal for Stolen Bike, Linked to Chain-Snatching Case

Manipal Police have arrested Prakash Nayak, a resident of Brahmavar, in connection with a bike theft case registered six months ago. The stolen bike was recovered during the operation.

The arrest took place following a chain-snatching incident involving an elderly woman the previous day. During routine police checks near Mannapalla MJC College, officers noticed Nayak riding suspiciously. Upon investigation, it was found that the bike he was riding was the one reported stolen earlier.

Inspector Devaraj, SI Raghavendra, and personnel Imran and Prasanna from Manipal Police Station were involved in the operation. Nayak was produced in court and has been sent to judicial custody.
