Pontotoc Man Arrested for Robbery at Tupelo Walmart

Tupelo police have arrested 27-year-old Jonathan W. Sisco from Pontotoc in connection with a robbery that took place at the Walmart on West Main Street on January 15.

According to store personnel, Sisco attempted to leave the store with stolen merchandise, and when employees confronted him, he allegedly threatened to shoot them.

After investigating the incident, Tupelo police arrested Sisco on January 20, initially charging him with misdemeanor offenses. However, he was later formally charged with robbery.

On January 22, Judge Allen of the Tupelo Municipal Court set Sisco’s bond at $10,000. The case is set to proceed to the Lee County Grand Jury for further review.
