Police Seize Drugs Worth Rs 3.5 Crore in Uppala, Arrest Asgar Ali

A police team led by DySP Manoj conducted a raid on a house in Uppala Patvady and seized drugs worth Rs 3.5 crores. The operation resulted in the arrest of Asgar Ali, who is accused of being involved in drug trafficking.

The raid was carried out based on information provided by Abdul Rahim, who was arrested on August 30 at Melparamba with 49.33 grams of MDMA. Following Rahim’s confession, police targeted the house in Uppala and discovered 3 kg of MDMA, 1 kg of ganja, and several intoxicants and tablets.

The authorities are continuing their investigation to further dismantle the drug trafficking network in the region. This successful operation highlights the police’s commitment to combating the illegal drug trade.
