Pinipe Srikanth, the son of former Andhra Pradesh Minister Pinipe Viswarup, was arrested in Madurai district of Tamil Nadu by a team of police personnel from Andhra Pradesh. He is being held in connection with a murder case that was registered in Konaseema district in 2022.
According to the Madurai district police, the team from Amalapuram police station had been tracking Srikanth, who had been absconding, in relation to the murder case. They successfully traced his whereabouts and arrested him in Tamil Nadu.
Srikanth’s arrest marks a significant development in the investigation, which has been ongoing since the 2022 murder. Further investigations are underway as police continue to gather more information related to the case.
