The Patamata Police arrested a 35-year-old man, Pedala Prabhakar alias Nathi Shiva, for allegedly sexually abusing and killing a 27-year-old woman on Wednesday.
Patamata Circle Inspector V. Pavan Kishore confirmed that the accused, who is a native of Vambay Colony, was taken into custody after the crime was reported. Following his arrest, Pedala Prabhakar was produced in court on Thursday.
The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are working to gather further details regarding the incident.
