Paul Bryant Arrested After Two-Year Manhunt in Drug Trafficking Case
INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, Fla. — Paul Bryant, a key suspect in a major drug trafficking operation, was arrested this week after evading authorities for nearly two years.
In 2022, the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office (IRCSO) teamed up with the DEA for a large-scale investigation into drug trafficking, which led to the arrest of 13 individuals. However, Bryant, one of the main suspects, fled the area and remained on the run.
After a lengthy search, detectives successfully located and apprehended Bryant, bringing his time as a fugitive to an end.
Authorities did not release further details about the arrest. Bryant faces several serious charges, including trafficking in phenethylamine, sale of phenethylamines within 1,000 feet of a church, conspiracy to traffic phenethylamines, and unlawful use of a two-way communication device.
