Patrick Marra and Cheyenne Mecka Arrested in Redding Drug Bust

On January 10, 2025, the Redding Police Department (RPD) arrested two individuals in connection with a drug trafficking investigation. The arrests followed a traffic stop initiated by officers who had been investigating drug activity linked to 30-year-old Patrick Marra.

RPD had received intelligence indicating that Marra was trafficking illegal drugs into Redding from the Bay Area. During the traffic stop, officers located approximately two ounces of fentanyl and two ounces of methamphetamine in the vehicle.

As a result of the discovery, Marra was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance for sale and transportation of a controlled substance. The investigation continues, and further updates will be provided as the case develops.
