Panama City Store Manager Arrested for Stealing Over $109,000

BAY COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) — Chantelle Saddo Ten-Hue, the manager of a convenience store in Panama City, was arrested after an investigation revealed she stole over $109,000 from store deposits.

The Bay County Sheriff’s Office responded to the theft on December 19, after the store owner discovered money was missing from deposits made throughout 2024.

The owner believed that an employee was responsible for the missing funds. Upon investigation, it was revealed that Ten-Hue, who was responsible for collecting and depositing the store’s earnings, had taken money from the deposits on a weekly basis.

During an interview with investigators, Ten-Hue confessed to taking money from the deposits throughout 2024.

She has been charged with Grand Theft Over $100,000 and was booked into the Bay County Jail.
