Owensboro Teen Arrested on $1 Million Bond for Attempted Murder

OWENSBORO, KY. – 19-year-old Unique Johnson was arrested and booked into the Daviess County Jail on a $1 million cash bond after being charged with four counts of attempted murder.

According to Owensboro police, Johnson was the driver who deliberately swerved at four people on West 4th Street and Crabtree Avenue before shots were fired on Tuesday night. During the incident, a nearby building was struck by the gunfire.

As previously reported on Thursday morning, another 19-year-old was arrested in connection with the shooting. Authorities continue to investigate the incident, which remains under scrutiny.
