Orlexus Elliott Faces 22 Felony Charges for Organized Retail Theft

Orlexus Elliott, 27, has been arrested and charged with 22 felony counts related to organized retail theft following a series of thefts across Nashville in 2023 and 2024. Elliott’s alleged theft spree involved stealing thousands of dollars’ worth of merchandise from various stores, including high-end retailers.

Notable thefts include a June 2024 incident at Tanger Outlets where Elliott and two accomplices stole 16 bags valued at $5,874 from the Coach store. Additionally, she is accused of stealing from multiple other locations throughout the year, including Dirt Cheap, Ace Hardware, Walgreens, Ulta Beauty, Sunglass Hut, and more.

Authorities report that Elliott often posted photos of the stolen goods on social media, which helped investigators link her to the crimes. She had previously been charged with numerous offenses since 2016, including probation violations.

Elliott is being held in the Metro Nashville Jail on a $102,500 bond.
