Orlando Valdes Hernandez and Milleni Garcia Arrested for $1 Million Jewelry Heist

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVJ) – Over $1 million worth of gold and jewelry were stolen in Nashville, Tennessee.

Police say two suspects ended up in a Miami Beach hotel, over 900 miles south of the crime scene.

A South Florida pair entered a jewelry store in Nashville, where the situation escalated. Authorities report that Orlando Valdes Hernandez jumped over the counter, pointed something at an employee, and forced him to the back. Meanwhile, Milleni Garcia and an unknown accomplice grabbed as much as they could.

After the heist, Hernandez and Garcia fled Nashville for Miami, allegedly stealing over $1 million worth of gold and unique jewelry pieces.

However, the duo was caught at the Grand Beach Hotel and will be extradited back to Tennessee to face multiple charges.
