BLOOMFIELD, N.Y. – Authorities have arrested Zachary Rogers, 40, of Bloomfield, New York, on charges of predatory sexual assault against a child under the age of 13.
Investigation and Arrest
The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, in collaboration with Child Protective Services, launched an investigation into allegations of criminal sexual contact involving a minor. Following the investigation, Rogers was taken into custody.
In addition to predatory sexual assault, Rogers has also been charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
Legal Proceedings
Rogers was arraigned and remains in the Ontario County Jail in lieu of bail.
Authorities remind the public that all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
