Omran Ibrahim, 24, Arrested for Multiple Burglaries in Sanford

SANFORD, Fla. — Omran Ibrahim, 24, was arrested by Sanford Police on Sunday night, facing a series of charges including multiple burglaries at the Islamic Society of Central Florida’s Masjid Al-Salaam mosque.

Police responded to a burglary call at 10:40 p.m. on Sunday and conducted a search of the mosque, where they found Ibrahim inside the property. In addition to the burglary charge from the Sunday night incident, Ibrahim is also facing charges of theft, grand theft, and involvement in previous burglaries.

Authorities have confirmed that Ibrahim’s arrest stems from a series of criminal activities tied to both the mosque and other incidents. The investigation is ongoing.
