Marathahalli police in Bangalore successfully arrested Durga Prasad, a 29-year-old man from Odisha, on charges of ganja peddling. Acting on a tip-off, the police raided an empty plot of land behind a hotel in Marathahalli, where Prasad was allegedly engaged in the illegal drug trade.
During the interrogation, Prasad led the police to his rented accommodation in the area. There, the police recovered a total of 10.10 kg of ganja, valued at approximately Rs4.4 lakh.
Prasad has been arrested, and further investigations are underway to determine his connections to other individuals involved in the drug trafficking network.
