A notorious offender involved in a Rs91 lakh cheating case and wanted in a murder trial has been arrested by the Narayanguda Police in Hyderabad. Palash Paul, originally from West Bengal, had been on the run for several crimes. He was accused of defrauding multiple victims across the city, posing as an interior and exterior designer specializing in teak wood supply for construction projects.
According to police reports, Paul used his false identity to deceive victims and steal nearly Rs91 lakh. The arrest took place after an extensive investigation by the Narayanguda Police. Paul had been evading authorities for some time and was also an absconder in an ongoing murder trial.
The police are continuing their investigation, as Paul’s criminal activities span several locations. His capture is considered a major breakthrough in the efforts to bring him to justice for the cheating and murder-related charges.
