Noida Police Arrest Himanshu Verma, Mayur Kumar in Gang Bust

The Noida Police on Monday successfully arrested three members of the notorious Pardi/Shikari gang, including two wanted criminals, Himanshu Verma (25) and Mayur Kumar (33), both carrying a bounty of Rs25,000 each. The trio had been evading arrest for six years.

The arrests took place near Sector 51 Metro Station, where the officers seized illegal pistols from Himanshu and Mayur. Virendra Kumar Verma, 60, another key gang member, was also apprehended. All three men are from Chamraula village in Agra, and they had been living in rented houses in Shiv Vihar, East Delhi.

The Pardi/Shikari gang, originating from 8 to 10 villages in Madhya Pradesh, is known for its well-organized and strategic approach to crime. Members of the gang travel across India to commit thefts and burglaries, often targeting jewelry. Before executing their crimes, they carry out extensive surveillance of potential targets. After stealing valuables, they send the loot to associates in the National Capital Region (NCR) who then melt down the stolen jewelry to create new pieces. Once their operations are complete, the criminals return to their base in Madhya Pradesh. Their sophisticated methods have made them one of the most feared criminal networks in the region.

The police are continuing their investigation and expect more revelations about the gang’s extensive operations.
