Nigerian National Jansar Walker Arrested with Mephedrone in Nalasopara

In a major drug bust, Nigerian national Jansar Walker was arrested by the Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) of the Mira Bhayandar-Vasai Virar police crime branch in Nalasopara, Maharashtra, on Wednesday. The police found him with 62.3 grams of mephedrone, a banned narcotic, valued at approximately Rs12 lakh.

The arrest took place when an ANC patrol spotted Walker waiting near Central Park in Nalasopara while riding a two-wheeler. Upon searching him, they found the drugs, which led to his immediate detention.

Walker has been charged under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act and the Foreigners Act at Tulinj police station. Investigations are underway to determine the source and distribution network of the confiscated mephedrone.
