Nigerian National Arrested for Cocaine Peddling in Hyderabad

The Central Zone of the Commissioner’s Task Force, in coordination with the Kachiguda police, arrested a Nigerian national involved in peddling cocaine in Hyderabad. The accused, Ngwuchukwu Godwin Ifeanyi, alias Godwin (34), was apprehended while waiting to deliver seven grams of cocaine to a customer.

Godwin, originally from Ogui Iweka in Enugu State, Nigeria, arrived in India in 2015 on a student visa to pursue a pharmacy course in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh. However, after his visa expired in 2016, he overstayed and remained in India illegally. Influenced by his Nigerian associates in the drug trade, he began procuring and selling cocaine.

The arrest was made after the authorities received intelligence about Godwin’s involvement in the illegal drug trade, and further investigation is underway to uncover more details about his activities and connections.
