New Jersey Man Sentenced to Up to 10 Years for Armed Robberies

MORRISVILLE, PA – A New Jersey man has been sentenced to five to ten years in state prison for committing two armed robberies in Morrisville Borough in September 2023.

Emanuel Hernandez Cuadrado, 40, of Trenton, pleaded guilty in November to two counts each of robbery and possession of a weapon.

On Thursday, Common Pleas Judge Gary B. Gilman sentenced Cuadrado to 2 ½ to 5 years for each case, with the sentences running consecutively, totaling 5 to 10 years behind bars.

Additional Sentencing Conditions
In addition to prison time, Cuadrado was sentenced to five years of probation, also to run consecutively after his confinement. The judge further ordered him to:

Undergo a mental health evaluation

Complete a drug and alcohol assessment

Pay over $1,300 in restitution to the businesses he robbed

Cuadrado’s sentencing comes as part of a continued effort by authorities to hold violent offenders accountable and ensure public safety in Morrisville Borough.
