New Delhi’s Mohammad Zaid Arrested in Drug Peddling Case

On Monday, police announced the arrest of Mohammad Zaid, a drug dealer from New Delhi, in connection with a narcotics investigation. The case involved the delivery of drugs via courier services, which was uncovered during the police probe.

The arrest follows an investigation related to a drug peddling case registered under FIR No 01/2025 at Karan Nagar Police Station, which falls under Sections 8/21-29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. During the investigation, Mohammad Zaid, son of Mohammad Jameel, was identified as a key player in the illegal drug trade.

Zaid, who resides in Okhla Vihar, Jamia Nagar, New Delhi, was arrested after his involvement in the courier-based drug delivery operation came to light. Following his arrest, the police have successfully obtained his remand from the court for further investigation.
