Neeraj Arrested for Attempted ATM Theft in Mani Majra

The Chandigarh Police have arrested a man for attempting to steal money from an ATM in Mani Majra on the night of March 7. Sumit Thukral, a complainant in the case, reported that an unidentified individual tried to break into the ATM at Motor Market but was unsuccessful. Following a thorough investigation, the police arrested 21-year-old Neeraj, a resident of Mauli Jagran, in connection with the incident.

In a separate case, the police arrested Narinder Kumar, also known as Aman, from Mauli Complex, after they found him in possession of 49 grams of heroin. The arrest occurred in Sector 48, and the police have filed a case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act at the Sector 49 police station.

Both arrests highlight the ongoing efforts of the Chandigarh Police to address various criminal activities in the area, from theft attempts to drug-related offenses.
