Karachi Court Sends Natasha on One-Day Remand in Fatal Accident Case

KARACHI (Dunya News) – On Tuesday, the City Court granted a one-day physical remand for Natasha, who is accused of causing a fatal accident on Karsaz Road in Karachi, resulting in the deaths of two individuals.

The police had requested her remand for further interrogation and her appearance before the court.

According to a medical report from Dr. Ghoni Laal, the head of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Jinnah Hospital, Natasha is reported to be confused and unable to participate in the court proceedings or interrogation.

Dr. Laal further stated that Natasha Danish was admitted to the hospital for a thorough medical evaluation.

Natasha’s defense lawyer claimed that his client had been diagnosed as a psychiatric patient and had been undergoing treatment for the condition for the past five years.

The incident occurred on Monday when Natasha, while driving, struck a motorcycle ridden by a man and his daughter, killing them. A First Information Report (FIR) was filed by the brother of the deceased, accusing the woman driver of the tragic accident.
