Nashville Woman Arrested for Stealing Over $28,000 in Beauty Products

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Myiesha Mayes, 28, was arrested Thursday in La Vergne after being linked to an extensive organized retail crime spree across Middle Tennessee. Over the past six months, Mayes, alongside her sister, is believed to have stolen more than $28,000 worth of beauty products from various stores.

Court documents reveal that Mayes targeted high-end retailers, with thefts occurring primarily at Sephora and Sunglass Hut. Notable incidents include multiple thefts at Fifth + Broad and Opry Mills Sephora stores, where Mayes took thousands of dollars worth of items.

The stolen goods include high-end beauty products such as makeup and skincare. In July, police announced that they were searching for the sisters, with their brother already in custody for his involvement. The search is still ongoing for 25-year-old Melissa Mayes, who remains at large.

Mayes faces felony theft charges, and her bond has been set at $100,000.
