Nandyal Police Arrest Automobile Offender Recover 20 Stolen Bikes

Nandyal CCS police have arrested Kale Venkata Ramana, an automobile offender, and recovered 20 stolen motorcycles worth approximately Rs15 lakh.

According to Superintendent of Police Adhiraj Singh Rana, the arrest took place in Nandyal town on Monday. The accused, a resident of Basavapuram village in Mahanandi mandal, had been stealing motorcycles in Nandyal and Prakasam districts. Ramana used duplicate keys to steal the vehicles, then altered the registration number plates or tampered with them to make the stolen bikes untraceable. In some instances, he even changed the vehicle’s color to further conceal its identity.

The police’s successful recovery of these motorcycles highlights their ongoing efforts to curb vehicle thefts in the region.
