Nagpur Police Arrest Trio in ₹20.35 Lakh Zudio Franchise Fraud

In a significant breakthrough, the Nagpur City Police Cyber Cell has arrested three individuals involved in a fraudulent scheme that deceived a local resident out of Rs20,35,500. The accused have been identified as Ganesh Saryug Pasvan, Raviranjan Kumar Yogendra Pasvan, and Rohit Kumar Sahdev Pasvan, all hailing from Nalanda, Bihar.

The scam came to light when the victim, interested in acquiring a franchise of the popular clothing brand Zudio, was tricked into making a substantial payment via a fake email correspondence. Realizing the deception only after the payment was made, the victim promptly filed a complaint with the Nagpur City Police. Through diligent investigation, the police were able to trace the suspects to Nalanda, Bihar, leading to their arrest on July 26, 2024.

The operation was executed under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Crime Nimit Goyal and Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Dr. Abhijit Patil. The investigative team included officers Amit Doddas, Amol Deshmukh, Assistant Police Inspector (API) Vivek Latmure, and others.
