Nagaon Police Arrest Two Medical Students and Driver for Theft

n a significant development, Nagaon police arrested two medical students and a professional driver connected to a theft ring. The students, Abhi Jyoti Chanda (2nd semester) from Silchar and Mahmaud Aashif (1st semester) from Juria in Nagaon district, were apprehended for stealing seven desktops and seven CPUs from Nagaon Medical College and Hospital on the night of Friday.

Along with the students, Najim Uddin, a professional driver suspected of involvement in a vehicle-lifting gang, was also arrested. The trio is being questioned by Nagaon police officers as part of the ongoing investigation.

Authorities are currently working to uncover the full extent of the theft network, with further inquiries expected to shed light on additional details.
