HOUSTON, TX – Myron Lynn Strambler, 36, has been charged with the murder of his wife, Alicia Strambler, 34, following a tragic incident at a motel in the 5200 block of Airline Drive. Houston Police Department responded to an assault-in-progress call on Wednesday evening around 6:10 p.m., where they encountered Strambler sitting outside a motel room.
Strambler informed officers that his wife was inside the room and required medical assistance. When police entered the room, they found the scene in disarray and discovered Alicia Strambler unresponsive on the restroom floor. She appeared to have suffered multiple blunt force trauma injuries, and paramedics later pronounced her dead at the scene.
Strambler was detained and questioned by HPD homicide detectives. After consulting with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, he was formally charged with murder and transported to Harris County Jail.
