ABILENE, TX — Detectives in Abilene have issued a murder warrant for 20-year-old Ivonyai Lamb in connection with the fatal shooting of 46-year-old Ramiel Sanders on February 7, 2025.
According to the Abilene Police Department, officers responded to a shots fired call at the Cedar Creek Apartments on Denton Street. Upon arrival, they found Sanders lying on the ground suffering from gunshot wounds. Sanders was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives quickly identified Lamb as the suspect and believe he may still be in the Abilene or Killeen area. Authorities are urging the public to assist in locating him and have advised anyone with information to contact local law enforcement.
The investigation remains ongoing as police work to bring Lamb into custody.
